A Plea to Save Lives: Support Friends for Life Animal Rescue

In the heart of Texas, countless animals face a grim reality – the threat of euthanasia due to overcrowded shelters and limited resources if they are found by animal control still alive after being dumped to fend for themselves. No matter if the dog is old, sick, pregnant, or just a puppy. Every day, dogs (and other animals) are left alone in the middle of nowhere or near highways, without food, water, or shelter.

These innocent creatures, often dumped, sick, or simply unwanted, deserve a chance for a better life. That's where Friends for Life Animal Rescue steps in, offering a lifeline of hope and compassion.
The number of dogs in need is staggering, and the funds are limited. The adoption fee often doesn't even cover the vet care a dog needs.
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization in New Jersey dedicated to rescuing animals from dire situations, mainly in Texas, and placing them in loving homes. We work tirelessly to heal them physically and emotionally before transporting these vulnerable animals from Texas, giving them a second chance at happiness.

Abandoned dogs we fed and took in just the last week.  Some are very skinny, puppies in all agaes. Few dead dogs.

But our mission comes at a cost. A Plea to Save Lives: Support Friends for Life Animal Rescue

We pulled Rusty from the shelter's kill list and went straight for surgery to remove that massive growth. Results came back as benign, and we were ecstatic.

Molly is one of our sadeast

story.

Took us a while to find her a foster in Texas and a foster in NJ while she was waiting in a tiny kennel waiting.

When we did it at last, the foster took her to the vet because she didn't look good. She had cancer filled her all belly.

R.I.P beautiful Molly. We loved you even if only for a short time.

We named her Hope. She was outside for so long, and no one thought to help her. She's doing better now.

Donate to help our animals!

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization EIN 86-1660545 volunteers and foster-based rescue in the Tri-State area. Our mission is to place animals in danger or unwanted animals in homes, no matter age or breed. To educate the public and help stop animal cruelty and neglect.
We are pulling dogs from the south before being euthanized or stray dogs with no one to care for them.
Many of the dogs are very sick, mostly with specific illnesses known only in southern states. Treatments cost thousands of dollars, and we can't do it without your donations.
