Most of our dogs (about 99%) need our help. They're dumped, sometimes when they are only a few weeks old, abused, starved, shot, left in a bag to die; we've seen it all. These dogs are in dire need of help. Sometimes, foster love and care are enough; other times, an urgent visit to the vet or even the hospital is necessary.
The vets' fees are very high, especially when a dog needs special care, and the adoption fee often doesn't cover our expenses for the dog. 

FFLAR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, EIN 86-1660545, that relies on donations and adoption fees. No one in our organization is getting paid. We are all volunteers, so for many of us, it's a second job.
We ask that you please consider donating to or sponsoring a dog, if possible.

100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support the rescue of other dogs and cats in need.
