Dixie is a female, approximately 2 years, 19 pound mixed breed.  The vet says she may be a heeler mix.  We pulled her from a kill shelter in Texas just before her timestamp was up.  Once we got her to the vet we discovered that she was heartworm positive.  She has completed her heartworm treatments and is now happy, healthy and ready to find her forever home in the NJ area.
