Yee Haw!!!  Cowboy was found roaming the streets of Texas, but this Buckaroo would prefer a nice cozy home to call his own.  He's been to the vet and gotten a clean bill of health.  The vet estimates him to be a catahoula lepard dog who is approximately 5 months old and weighs 27 pounds.  The vet doesn't think he will get much bigger than he already is (but as usual, we can't make any promises).

Cowboy is described as being the perfect gentleman (or 'Fine as Cream Gravy' in cowboy speak)!  He's quiet and super sweet, and friendly to all he meets - humans, dogs and even kitty cats.  Cowboy is all set to come to NJ on our next transport (Oct 11th).  He promises he'll leave his lasso behind - he'd prefer a warm lap over rustling cattle any day!
