Hello, my name is Hank and I'm so happy to meet you!  I'm looking for a place that I can call "home".  You see, I've been living in a kennel while I underwent treatment for something called heart worms, but I'm all better now and I'd really love to find someplace with a nice soft bed and some people to call my own. 

I'm a 2 year old (estimated), blue heeler mix and I currently weigh 44 pounds.  I'm deaf, but that doesn't bother me at all.  I've been told that deaf dogs can learn hand signals from their family and that would be pretty cool to try.  I'm currently staying in TX, but would love to find a forever home up north.  I'm told that if I'm adopted, I'll be transported to the NJ area to meet my new family.  And speaking of family, I've already been around kids and other dogs and I do well with them.

  • Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs.  Has not been cat tested yet.

  • Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport.
