Meet Mickey and Minnie. No they aren't mice, and they aren't from Disney... they are just 2 tiny chi pups that make a wonderful couple. They really are perfect together and we would love for them to find a home where they can stay together. Be sure to check out their videos for a better view of them.
What kind of owner doesn't feed his babies, keeps them outside in the streets, and doesn't even realize that they are missing for over 3 days? That was Mickey and Minnie's former owner. A neighbor of theirs reached out to ask for our help as she has been caring for both of them since their owner neglected and then abandoned them.
Mikey (more tan than white) is the older of the two, he's about 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He's tan and white. He's sweet as can be and he looks out for Minnie. In fact he will make sure she eats by letting her eat first, and when she is done he'll eat after her.
Minnie (more white than tan) is the baby. She's about 5 months old, weighing in at a whopping 5.5 pounds.
Their foster says they are amazing together. They don't bark or yap and don't try to nip at anyone. They love to sit and cuddle on her lap.
They have both been to the vet where they behaved perfectly. They were vaccinated, and found to be heartworm negative. Mickey has been neutered. Minnie is too young.
They are currently located with a foster in the NJ area. If you are approved to adopt them, you can schedule a meet and greet.
