This little girl who we named Sofia was found walking all alone on the highway.  She was an incredibly tiny baby at the time, just 2 pounds (if that).  It's hard to imagine her surviving even one day in that state.  She was not only tiny and alone but she was anemic, full of flees, and very dehydrated.  However, Sofia is a fighter, and with the tender loving care of a very good foster in Texas, she has fully recovered and is up to normal puppy shenanigans now!

Sofia is a female, estimated to be 2 months old, and weighs 4 lbs.  She is a mixed breed. 
She’s playful, very curious, and likes to see what is going on.  She is good with other dogs and cats (she will approach the cat carefully).   She plays rough with her foster brother and isn't intimidated by him.  She doesn't like to be left alone right now.  If everyone leaves the room at once she cries.

• Personality: smart, friendly, playful, affectionate
• Good with: people of all ages (including kids), dogs, and cats
• Training: crate trained, uses pee pads and working on potty training
• Estimated date of birth: 3/18/25
• Weight: 4 pounds
• Medical: Fully vetted, receiving puppy vaccinations, microchipped
• Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport.
