Meet Petunia, she’s an approximately 3 month old puppy who weighs 8.8 pounds as of mid-December.  We are guessing she is a black mouth cur mix - but your guess is as good as ours!

Petunia was found along with her sister Sage - they were dumped at just a few weeks old on a dead end street in Texas.  They are both still a little shy.  Petunia doesn’t like being held right now, but her foster is working on that with her and she is slowly starting to open up and trust.  She will need an adopter that is willing to allow her time to decompress and understand that she is safe and loved.

Petunia will finish her initial vaccination schedule and, if adopted, she will be ready to come to NJ on the next transport.
