This cute boy found himself abandoned by his previous owner after the owner’s living situation changed. The owner left Buddy “temporarily” with a foster family and told them that he was looking for a forever home for Buddy, but the owner left Buddy and blocked all communications with the foster family.  The foster family loves Buddy and asked us to help them out in finding Buddy a perfect new home.

Buddy is a very happy boy, who enjoys attention from his humans. He adores playing with his toys and gets so excited when you are willing to play fetch with him.  Though, he is also quite content to self-entertain and is able to be left alone for several hours without a problem.  He’s extremely affectionate and always wants to be around his humans snuggling on the couch or in bed.

Buddy is housebroken, fully vetted, neutered, and does great on car rides.

Up to most recently Buddy has had only one person in his life so he has not been exposed to children or other pets.  Due to this we feel Buddy will do best in a house with no kids or other dogs at first.  In his foster home he did have 2 small instances of resource guarding which may have been due to the anxiety over being left in a new unfamiliar place.  He will need some time to feel secure in his new home.  We recommend that he be slowly socialized to other dogs and would benefit from a few training sessions.

Buddy is currently with a foster family in NJ.  Once approved to adopt, you can set up a meet and greet with him.
