Linda and Susi are a bonded chi who came from a neglected house with 2 other chi.
They were left at a vet office with nails so long they couldn't walk on their paws.
No history of vet care or any other information was given.
They are all 4 bonded, but we know it would be almost impossible to keep them all together, so we are trying to adopt 2 pairs.
Linda and Susi got vaccinated and had their teeth treated. Less than 10 lbs.
They are now ready to go home.
We believe they are between 8-10 years old. They love to go out to the backyard, run, bark a little (not excessive barkers) and just lay in the sun.
When they arrived, they were so frightened it took 2 months for them to feel safe and comfortable in the foster home. One is still keeping distance, and the other will dance on her 2 back legs and ask for a pet or come to you for attention.
They will do best in a home with a fenced backyard or a deck, where they can go out and enjoy the good weather.
With an owner who is patient and understands the trauma, these poor dogs had suffered. A quiet older home with lots of love to give.
They are pee-pad trained but prefer doing their business outside.
