Debbie is Bluetick Coonhound & English Coonhound Mix. She was brought to the shelter as a stray. The person that called said she is good with dogs and cats. She definitely has a hound personality, but overall is a sweet girl who would love to have attention all the time. She is around 1.5 years old and weighs around 44 pounds. She is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Debbie is an active girl (she gets two long walks a day, playtime with our dog and an additional longer walk a few times a week), very playful. She's a Cuddler/Kisser Sleeps in the crate at night with no issues. Almost fully house trained. Likes car rides, Likes throwing balls and toys, tug a war, playing with other dogs. Good with kids and other animals. But need to introduce slowly. She likes to cuddles, playtime with people and dogs, exploration outside, yard time Will need a 6ft Fenced backyard because if she smells something, she will go after it and try to go under or over the fences to get to it. Must be supervised when in the yard. She’d do really well with a family with another dog that likes to play, an active couple. A family who knows the hound breed.
