Koda, with her smiling face, didn't have much to smile about, before she came to her foster home. KODA was scheduled to be euthanized!! She was brought to the vet by animal control who found her roaming the area, just to be killed.  Only a puppy who trying to stay alive,  Luckily, the vet didn't feel it was the right thing to do. He called our partner in the south and asked her to save the little girl. We've been contacted and we said yes. We will take her and find her the best home we possibly can. So now Koda is looking for her forever home. Koda is about 9 months old and just under 40 lbs. We are unsure of the breed but may have some Shepherd maybe Collie in her. She is current on her vaccine and spayed. She is friendly with both people and dogs. Working on house-training, Sleeps all night in her crate in the same room with the other foster dog. She loves to be in the company of humans or other dogs. She is a high-energy girl who LOVES to run and jump hurdles (future agility star maybe??).  She loves treats - that's great for training Loves toys.  Koda is not a fan of horses (just in case..) The best home for Koda should have: Another dog in the house, a somewhat submissive pup who likes to play, chase each other, and keep busy. A fenced backyard to run and play in. An owner who has some experience with dogs and knows when to put a limit and be firm with her when needed and someone who be willing to take Koda for some training. She will benefit tremendously from learning new things. An active family will be great for her Older kids are recommended because of her energy.
