Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
Lola is about 4 months and 22.5 lbs. We don't know what breed she is.
She was found with her four siblings under the house. The homeowner brought them to our foster as the mother was nowhere to be found when they were only 3 or 4 weeks old.
Her foster says:
Lola is decompressing well and turning into a great dog. She is very laid back, happy being a cuddling couch potato but also loves to play with the other dogs. She has shown no aggression towards adults, men, children, and even my 19-month-old grandson. She does not stress in a crazy environment with kids running around, adults yelling at football games, and just jumping on the couch and watching.
After a week, I would estimate she is about 95% crate trained. She is in a 36” crate that gets covered at night, and light music is playing in the background. She may bark a little at first but settles down and makes it all night (11 PM to 6 AM). She is about three days now with no accidents in the house, and the cold of NJ does not seem to bother her. She is incredibly soft and seems not to shed much at all.
She listens very well to her name, learns basic commands such as Sit, and takes treats relatively gently. Still needs to work on her leash walking.
