Ben, a Red Heeler, was dumped in the south, alone, in the middle of nowhere, but thankfully, he was saved by a good person who fed him, and our friends there took him in. He is up to date on his vaccination. Currently fostered in NJ. Ben is 45 lbs with long legs and an athletic body, estimated to be around one year old. He is a very active and energetic boy. He is a great runner buddy. He plays independently with his toys and with his buddy at home. He is good with big or small dogs. He is housebroken but not the best at signaling if he needs to go out. He will try to wait, so you should keep an eye on him. He loves his crate and will go in the crate with the "get in" command. He has a lot of energy and loves long walks. He walks very well on a leash He is a chewer if he can't take the energy in another way (running, walking, playing with another dog, etc He is dog friendly. Loves belly for rubs and all attention. He is very loving, sleeps thru the night, and wakes up happy. He’d made the perfect addition to an active family who likes spending time outside.
