Chuck is an 8-9-month-old dark chocolate lab mix male. He has an unusual and beautiful coat that is a golden and dark brown two-tone effect. He is a lively pup who likes to hoard all his toys in his bed! He is house-trained and will sleep all night in his crate and for several hours during the day if needed. Chuck is also very food motivated, making teaching him with a few treats very easy. He will run to his crate for snacks and has been fed in there, so that it is a positive place for him. However, he will also sleep and snuggle with you all night in your bed too! He will not chew household items if he is given tough chew toys to satiate his love of chewing and playing. He has been fostered with two other dogs he loves to play with and greets everyone enthusiastically. Chuck has also been to dog parks and will interact and play nicely with everyone he meets. He would do best in a home with at least one other dog that he can play with due to his love of playing and a fenced yard. Chuck is continuing to work on his basic commands. He knows ‘sit’, ‘bed’, ‘leave it’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, and will always come on command’. Chuck is easy to put a leash on and walks nicely without issues. Chuck likes to lie next to you for cuddles when he is tired and takes his puppy nap, but he will also sleep peacefully in his bed. He gives kisses and is a sweet-natured boy who needs someone willing to ensure he gets his puppy energy out and who will continue to teach him boundaries and basic good behaviors like any other puppy. This boy is a cutie pie and is in the process of being neutered.
