Colton needs a family! 11 months old 40 lbs of love Good with Dogs Good with Cats (dog savvy) Good with Kids Fully house trained This sweet boy was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas when he was just 5 months old. Since then, Colton has been in the care of fosters, never truly having a family to call his own. We can't understand how this love bug has not found a home! He loves everyone & everything! He knows basic commands sit-down-paw-stay-crate. He is very food motivated & a quick learner! He loves snacking on apple slices, carrots & other veggies too. He is a quiet observer and does not bark at passing cars, people, or animals. Colton sits politely for car rides. He gets very excited at the beginning of a walk but can be refocused with some treats. We are working on it. Colton is living with 3 other dogs ranging from 10lbs-65lbs. The two cats in the house are accustomed to dogs and don't mind giving him a whack when he gets too much in their space. He has NEVER shown any sign of aggression, including meal times & sharing/new toy day. He does need heavy-duty chew toys. He is a power chewer but has never chewed any furniture or items. Colton is the ultimate cuddle bug! He loves kisses, snuggles & being tucked in at night. Whether he is sleeping in bed, next to it on a dog bed, or in his crate, he does not get into any nighttime mischief. This goofy noodle boy would do best with a yard to get his zoomies out.
