Labrador Retriever / English Pointer / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Rosie, our beautiful and sweet girl, estimated to be about 10-14 months old,
who still has the puppy energy in her.
Weights around 67 lbs.
.
Rosie’s foster family cannot say enough good things about her! She is a lab/pointer mix (our best guess) weighing about 67 pounds.
This sweet girl loves attention and spending plenty of time with her humans.
She is a bit shy with other dogs at first, but once she warms up, she is very friendly and playful.
We think she’ll do well with a four-legged sibling or in any home (from a single person to a large family with young kids).
After her morning walk, she loves to take naps, watch animals go by, and check in with her family throughout the day.
She is very respectful of your home (does not damage anything) and does not bark throughout the day.
Affectionate
The best home for Rosie will be:
A family that is able to take her on long walks plays with her, and gives her lots of pets.
Another friendly and playful dog at home.
A fenced-in yard would be great for Rosie
She enjoys car rides to the park and fun obedience training sessions where she can learn and earn a lot of treats!
She would be happy to sleep with her family or by herself in her crate at night.
She's good with all human sizes.
She is currently being fostered in NJ and would love to join your family.
Skills:
-Housetrained
-Sit
-Down
-Come (almost there!)
Working on:
-Leash skills (pulls when she first gets outside but walks very well on longer walks)
Rosie was found while roaming the streets in a town in the south, and no one had claimed her until she was taken in by a good person who also fostered her.
