Ruby and her babies were going to be dropped, by their owner, in the pound, where the chance of surviving was close to zero. We are so thankful we could prevent it in time and took them in. She is estimated to be 16 -20 months We think she's a Lab mix (does it matter at all?) About 50 lbs. Vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home!! She is good with any size dogs and seems to not care about cats. Ruby is said to be a sweet girl, a very happy dog with A LOT of energy, so her best home would be an active owner/ family who will take her on his morning run, on his weekend hiking, and walk her every day. A nice fenced-in backyard will be needed so that she can run and play outside. A second dog who also needs a way to use in a positive way his energy will be a great way for both to play and chase each other outside. Kids in the home should be older than 13 because of Ruby's energy and love of jumping. Ruby finished treatment of heartworm, but you can never guess it, with her wagging tail and energy she has.
