"Everything I want is love, and I'll give back ten times more." That's what I feel about him as his foster.
Dude is such a lover. He would love to be near you all day and sleep near you at night. He also loves to play with squeaky toys or chew on healthy bones.
Chase after balls
He is friendly with dogs, cats, and all-size humans
He is house-trained
He likes to carry the leash with his mouth when you're tired, lol
He understands "stay," "No," and "come, move"
He doesn't like the crate but will stay in it with a Juicy bone.
He'll enjoy a home with another very friendly dog who loves to play.
Running in the fenced backyard
Lots of toys
Lots of love.
He is gentle and submissive.
Dude is estimated to be under one year old and still has the puppy energy.
Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated
Dude is fostered in Bergen County, NJ.
Dude's back right leg has an old injury or it from birth.
We took him to the vet, who did an X-ray. He said that it might be from birth or someone kicked him badly when he was very young . He did not recommend any treatment as it is not painful or disturbing his daily activities .
Dude is very friendly but will need time to learn and trust you. He is afraid of yelling and fast cars during leash walks, but getting better
Dude is absolutely sweetheart and he is ready to go home!!
Background
Dude arrived at us from a "home" that was an old mobile home without windows or a door on a big property. The owner went to jail, and over 16 dogs were left without food, water, or a way out. The only thing they could do was eat the neighbor's chickens. That's when they called us and demanded to take the dogs from there. And we did.
There were pregnant dogs, dead dogs, and skinny dogs. All are very fearful of people. Some months later, we are still working with a few of them to win their trust.
