Garland looks to be a Collie/Heeler mix He is estimated to be one year old. You can see from the picture that he is in a high-kill shelter in Texas. After begging, he and three other young dogs got an extension until next week to find a place to stay alive. Garland is a quite boy. The animal control said that he doesn't bark and he listens to him. He is good with the other dogs. He has medium-sized hair like a Collie and relatively short legs. He is estimated to be 25 lbs or so. He received his vaccines today from a rescuer who helped us, and we helped her, to save this sweet dog. He is a good-looking boy. We asked for more pictures, which is hard to get, but we promise all our dogs are so much more beautiful when we meet them than the pictures we receive. Since Garland is in Texas, the adopter will have to come to transport and take their new baby home when they arrive in NJ.
