Labrador Retriever (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Large
Raskel was adopted and was renamed Creed. He was recently returned to us.
Although he showed no interest in cats while in a foster home in TX with his new family, they say he was "aggressive" towards the cats.
We are a little confused, but we decided that cats for Raskel-Creed will be a NO for his new home and no small animals of any kind. We feel it's better to be safe.
Raskel-Creed is a very strong young boy. He occasionally pulls on the leash, but we are working on that.
He is crate-trained but doesn't like to stay there for long periods of time. He knows basic commands like sit and stay. His former adopter said he is affectionate and loves attention.
He has energy and loves spending time outside in the yard, hiking, joining as a running mate, or doing any outdoor activity.
We want to find a forever home for Creed! He deserves it!
Background -
A lady brought this boy, asking us to take him in.
She saw him in the streets for two and a half weeks. A neighbor didn't like the idea of a dog in his neighborhood and started shooting to kill him.
The poor dog got so scared that the lady was able to catch him.
She tried to find his owner if there was one, but no one came for him.
The family who found him was on vacation and returning home, so they couldn't keep him.
In that home were two young kids.
The boy named him Raskel.
The little girl cried when they left him behind.
Raskel shows no interest in cats and is ok with other dogs. Check the video we added of him playing with Holly.
He's walking nicely on a leash.
He is extremely sweet and loving. Good with everyone
And most of all, he needs a good home!!
We vaccinated him, and he was neutered and microchipped.
The vet said he is about two years old and weights 59lbs
