Potsie, one of four siblings we pulled from a shelter that, like most shelters, is always full and needs to make place for more dogs by killing those who've been the most extended waiting. Potsie was only six weeks or so when they were scheduled to die. We got the notice and got them out to safety. He is vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Potsie is currently being fostered in NJ, and his foster mom is very pleased with him and sent this update: Potsie will go potty outside. Will sleeps in his crate and brings all the toys in there :) He learned the sit command. He is good with children and very sweet and calm. He loves other dogs. He walks very well on the leash--he leads the hikes! (Last week, he went on his first hike and did well for 1.6 miles. You go, Potsie.) He is such a sweet and easy pup. He is still somewhat unsure but is slowly warming up to the people in the house. Love and patience are all that is needed. He would do best with another friendly dog in the house, as he likes dogs the most. His June weight is 14 lbs.
