Chihuahua (short coat) : : Male : : Young : : Small
just picked up Ollie, immediately my bff, hopped right in the car and was ready to go! Super super friendly, rides well in the car. That was the first impression of Ollie's foster
Name: Ollie
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
Weight: 14.1 lbs
Estimated Age: 1.5-2 years old
Ollie’s story, the part that we know, began on the streets of San Antonio as a stray dog, where he was found and got a loving home for about a year with a single mom and her two kids.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen housing issues, Ollie is now looking for his forever home once again. This time up north! And this time we are asking that it will be a real FOREVER HOME.
This little guy is the epitome of friendliness and curiosity! Ollie has never met a stranger he didn't love and loves to greet everyone with a wagging tail. He’s especially great with kids, making him a perfect family pet.
What Ollie Loves:
- Car Rides: He’s a great co-pilot!
- Cuddling: Ollie enjoys snuggling up close but isn’t overly clingy.
- Exploring: His curious nature makes him an excellent adventurer.
- Blankets: Rolling in blankets is his favorite pastime.
- Other Pets: He’s confident around both large and small dogs and is generally unbothered by cats.
Training and Behavior:
- Housebreaking: Ollie is making good progress.
- Leash Manners: Still a work in progress.
- Crate Trained: While he’s comfortable in his crate, he may scratch at the door if he can see you.
- Ollie markes, from time to time, at home since he arrived. We suspect it has to do with the other animals including male dogs that are at home as well as the fact that he wasn't neutered when arrived.
At this time he ware during the day a belly band and his foster following his improvement in that area
Ollie’s outgoing personality and confidence make him not just a pet in the house, but he’s a companion ready for life’s adventures.
If you’re looking for a loyal, brave, and fun-loving friend, you found him.
Since his arrival he's been fully vetted, neutured, microchiped, heartworm tested and he was negative,
Now he is all ready to meet his new family .
