Sabre is a shar-pei mix who we think is the missing sibling of Jody and Buffy. Jody and Buffy were found on the highway after one of their siblings was hit by a truck. Sabre, and the mother, weren’t found with them. But after a few months we got a call from the shelter and they had found a pregnant pup who looked to be Jody and Buffy’s sibling. She didn’t have much time left in the shelter before she was scheduled for euthanization so we didn’t think twice about pulling her out immediately. Just two days after she arrived at our Texas foster’s house, she gave birth to nine beautiful puppies who have all been adopted.

Sabre was an incredible young mother, but now it's time for her to start enjoying life for herself. Sabre is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 52 pounds. She is fully vaccinated and will be spayed before going home. She is a very loving girl, and very friendly with all the animals and people that she mets. She walks well on a leash. She likes to be pet and loved, but is also content to play independently with her toys. She is house-trained. Her foster says she is a great dog!! Sabre is currently in Texas but will be transported to NJ when adopted.
