Meet Rip, who was named after the guy from the Yellowstone TV show. Rip is the only survivor out of his original family of seven. They had all been living under a trailer in the Texas heat which was over 110 degrees. A neighbor tried to save them, but by the time she got to them only three were still alive. She kept them in a big pen on her property until one day when she came home she discovered that someone had given the puppies poisoned chicken and sadly, Rip’s remaining 2 siblings didn’t survive. Now, Rip is living inside the house and the foster says the following: “My surviver is a little spank dude who found his voice. He is loving his new chew toys. He think that any dog he meets is his BFF. He loves to hangout on the couch and watch TV. He just learned to sit and wait for a treat.” Rip is a mix (possibly some type of hound in him) and our guess is that he'll be a medium sized dog when fully grown. He is about 11 weeks old and 12 pounds as of August. He's been vaccinated as per his age, and will be microchipped. He is too young to be neutered yet. Rip is currently in Texas but will be transported to NJ when adopted. Are you the right forever home for this sweet survivor?
