What’s that on your shoulder? No worries, it’s just little CK. CK absolutely loves to cuddle and will readily bond with his person. He also gets along well with cats (and will snuggle with them too if given the chance) and other dogs. CK is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 17 pounds. He does have a small scar on the side of his body from a previous injury. We pulled CK from a Texas shelter where he was on the kill list. Yay! Freedom at last for little CK. But that freedom was short-lived as once we took him to the vet we found out he was heartworm positive. Tough break for the little guy as heartworm treatment requires that he take it easy during the treatment period. The good news is that he has completed all his treatment and is now ready to wiggle-butt his way into his forever home!!! He is currently being fostered in Texas but once adopted can arrive to NJ on our next transport.
