Evelyn is an 8 year old, medium-sized schnauzer mix who is looking for a new home that she can retire in. For the past 8 years she has been a wonderful companion and a great little watch dog but she’s looking for a quieter environment now that she’s older. Her current household has 3 children (2 toddlers and a newborn) and the energy level of the household has gotten to be a bit too much for Evelyn. She would much prefer a quieter home without kids disrupting her beauty sleep. She is not aggressive but has begun to become too impatient with the little kids. Evelyn is approximately 46 pounds, but is trying to diet to work off a little bit of that weight per her vet’s recommendation. She is very friends and loves to be around people as well as cuddle and play. Her ideal home would be one with older adults who are looking for a companion and will be able to give her some one on one attention and snuggles. Evelyn is currently in Texas, but once adopted, will be transported to the NJ area.
